John has over 15 years of staff, project management and permitting experience in the private sector. John entered the development community in the early 1990’s, which was near the beginning of the land development boom in Central Florida. Since then, he has gained extensive permitting knowledge and established many relationships in the development industry and the various environmental regulatory agencies. Having vast experience with resolving wetland, wildlife and other permitting, John has a firm understanding of client needs, including project goals, timeframes, budget priorities, and the ability to navigate the various federal, state and local government regulatory systems. In April of 2008, John was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist to the Environmental Regulation Commission.
